Design Engineer

You will be primarily responsible for designing food and beverage plants and functional warehouse building projects.

System Engineer

You will belong to the Information Planning Group, and works as an in-house SE to maintain, operate, and manage the company’s core system (the system used by construction management and design staff for cost management).

Career path

1st year

Year 1: For six months, as a member of the headquarters, you will learn (1) the ability to read drawings (2)basic skills necessary for construction management, and (3)construction preparation skills. After six months, you will be transferred to each place of assignment and trained mainly on OJT. In addition, you will learn basic knowledge through a learning method at the in-house university SANWA Academy (held once a month).

2nd year

You will work as an assistant to your senior staff and learn OJT at the in-house university SANWA Academy (held once a month) to learn basic knowledge.

3rd year

In addition to promoting on-the-job training as an associate in charge of individual projects, you will learn basic knowledge through learning at the in-house university SANWA Academy (held once a month).

Our team/corporate culture

Design Group (Design Engineer)
Each project is handled by a group of several mid-level/experienced and young employees. Through on-the-job training, we have an environment to educates employees with an awareness of “nurturing”.

Information Planning Group (System Engineer)
A small but highly communicative team focused on managing internal infrastructure and systems.

Typical daily work schedule

Regular working hours 8:30 start at 17:30 finish (including 12:00~13:00 break)
After starting work, each group or project team meets to review daily tasks and work on them.
There are few opportunities to work alone, and work proceeds through internal meetings with the sales, procurement, and estimating departments.
We have adopted a system called SODA, which is a daily report system that can be written and read by all employees, allowing them to solve problems and questions.
