Hitachi Industrial Equipment Systems Co., Ltd. was established in April 2002 through the collaboration of five companies, including the Hitachi Industrial Equipment Group and other Hitachi Group companies. Our company’s mission is to achieve a sustainable society through the combination of “Green products (environmentally friendly products) and digital solutions”.
Environmental measures are also a matter of urgency in our business fields of industrial and social infrastructure.
Under such circumstances, leveraging our long-standing technical expertise and know-how inherited from Hitachi’s founding products and businesses, we have established a robust business structure. This structure enables us to provide a one-stop solution, encompassing advanced environmental and energy-saving technologies, manufacturing, sales, after-sales service, and system solutions. As a result, we have a number of products with top-class market shares in Japan.
In recent years, we have been combining the strengths of these products with digital solution technologies, such as IoT, to solve various problems on the manufacturing floor, including environmental issues.

Also in recent years, we have been focusing on global expansion and actively growing our business through mergers and acquisitions (M&A), among other strategies. Currently, approximately 50% of our sales come from overseas business.
The industrial and social infrastructure sectors consume enormous amounts of energy, and there’s a growing need for energy efficiency worldwide. Against this backdrop, our company’s purpose “Green Products x Digital” has been steadily spreading overseas. We’re committed to solving challenges in industrial and social infrastructure not only in Japan but worldwide, striving to create a sustainable society.

1. Design and Development Engineer

<IoT Device Design Department>
Development and design of IoT device products and system proposal to solve customer problems and its realization

For over 40 years, we have been involved in the development of industrial controllers that serve as the core for realizing Factory Automation (FA), expanding our presence both domestically and internationally.
In recent years, in order to meet the needs of FA (Factory Automation) for IoT and DX (Digital Transformation), we have commercialized new industrial controllers that realize seamless connections with information systems by fusing control and communication. Also we are promoting business expansion through products that contribute to new solutions that link real-time control data with AI.

<Control System Design Department>
We propose plant monitoring and control systems and energy visualization systems that are optimal for customers. and develop, design, on-site commissioning and maintenance of these systems.

In the division dedicated to solving customer challenges through systems, with a focus on products from Hitachi Industrial Equipment Systems, we have delivered numerous monitoring and control systems over the years. In recent years, there has been an increasing demand for IoT implementation and Digital Transformation (DX), and we anticipate a growing market for these technologies.
We develop industrial controllers (IoT controllers and PLCs), software such as SCADA and PCs, and provide solutions for many control panel designs such as feed plants, pump control, compressor unit control, inverter power control, and railway operation support systems.

2. System Engineer

We are looking for an application engineer in the IT department of the head office to promote the efficiency and DX of the internal business flow as below.
