FURUNO SYSTEMS was established in 1984 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Furuno Electric Co., Ltd. (the world’s leading manufacturer of marine electronic equipment) listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Prime Market. Wireless handy terminals for the distribution industry were our main product for the first 20 years of operation. Then, wireless LAN access points (wireless LAN-AP) and cloud management systems became our main products as the wireless LAN market expanded.
