AR System is a system development company that celebrated its 29th anniversary.
We are specialized in the development of mail order systems, and have been marketing five packaged products to date.
We don’t follow a strict specification document from the start, but rather listen to our customers’ needs and feedback through the development phase. Our focus is on developing a product that is easy to use and convenient for our clients.
Our developers put their soul into each and every products we have released on the market.
We currently deal with more than 100 active clients, have installed systems for more than 600 companies since our start, and we are proud to count many well-known mail order companies among our clients.
Although it is a development-centered company, our engineers are familiar with the mail order industry, and their position is close to business consultant. We wish to keep on developing our activities while further specializing in our area of expertise.

Our corporate culture is different from that of a large company. While our members have a strong professional mindset, they are also very friendly, creating a family-like atmosphere within the team.
Many of our employees are passionate about developing systems, and work as one to reply to our clients’ needs.
Our services/products
If you have a look at other products on the market, you can see that there are large mail order systems developed from scratch as well as small e-commerce systems. Our products are somewhere in the middle, targeting customers that already have expanded their activities as a mail order company. We incorporate into our products the know-how gained from our experience with many mail order companies. This enables us to develop systems that, although being package products, can perform all required operations (from order to shipment) without customization.
Besides, in the future data will become more and more necessary and valuable. As our products are strong in this area, we plan to continue to introduce many more products in line with the speed of change of the market.

What projects/services is your engineering team working on?
- Core system development: Development of mail order core system “通販Ace” (tsuuhan ace)
- EC site development and maintenance: Development of API for cooperation between our e-commerce sites, creation, function development and maintenance work for clients’ E-commerce websites.

What type of engineers work at your company? What is their job content?
- Programmer: Development of core systems (business software, package software, OEM software)
- Web engineer: Development and maintenance of clients’ e-commerce websites and in-house websites.

Do you plan on using any new technologies in the future?
In the next 3 to 5 years, we are thinking about developing next-generation software and applications, using new web technologies such as Electron and Blazor.
Our corporate culture
Our founding members are still working together with us. Being a small team of 15 people, the atmosphere at the workplace is very warm and friendly, it is a family-like atmosphere.
It is a lively workplace, there is a lot of communication between members all along the development process.
On the other hand, being a small team, we give each member further duties and responsibilities as they gain experience, therefore we expect our employees to be committed to their work and pursue excellence.
Our company encourage employees to take the Premium Friday (campaign initiated by the Japanese government to take the afternoon off on the last Friday of the month), which members often use as an opportunity to spend time together out of work, and know each other better. We also have an all-you-can-eat sweets corner at the office, where members can take a break during the day.
